Environmental History Resources is a scholarly and educational website. Our website address is: https://www.eh-resources.org.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it?

By default, the site does not collect any personal data about visitors. However, some plugins may collect some limited personal data. We do not know where these data are stored, nor will we attempt to access this.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. The IP address and browser user agent string are not retained.

After approval of your comment, your name and personal website URL (if you choose to provide a URL) will be visible in the context of your comment. If you wish to have your comment removed you can send a request through our contact form.

Contact forms

This site uses a contact form. Should you send us an email, either directly of using the contact form on this website, your email address will be used only for correspondence. Your name and email address will not be disclosed to any third parties.

Podcast

This site uses LibSyn, a third-party platform, to host and serve our podcasts. When you listen or download a podcast episode, LibSyn shares with us basic analytical data, such as number of downloads, location and the time of each download, so that we can better understand our audience. No identifiable personal information is shared or communicated.
